The Swift Construction Company
The examples in Working with webERP are common real-world scenarios, based on the fictional Swift Construction Company (SCC) featured in the Tom Swift (“Senior”) series of youth science adventure novels published in the early 1900’s.
Growing up in the 50’s and 60’s, I enjoyed reading about the adventures of Tom’s son, Tom Swift Jr., in The New Tom Swift Jr. Adventures series. Books in the original series published before 1923 are now in the public domain available for use in Working with webERP. The SCC, its employees, projects, customers and suppliers, makes a convenient back story for the workflow examples we will explore.
The Aircraft Wireless was invented by Tom’s and will be used as an example for exploring workflows in Working with webERP.
